Account Deletion

You can delete your AwFit account and associated data at any time. Here's how:

In-App Deletion (Recommended)

Contact Support for Deletion

If account deletion is not available in-app, or if you need assistance, you can request account deletion by:

• Email: support@awfit.net
• Subject Line: Account Deletion Request
• Include in your request:
  • Your account email or username
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
  • Any additional information that may help us locate your account

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt and send you a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your account information and profile
• Meal logs and nutrition data stored in the cloud
• Workout history stored in the cloud
• Social connections (friends, groups)
• Settings and preferences

Note: Data stored locally on your device (in the app's local storage) will remain until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app will remove all local data.

Data Retention After Deletion

Some data may be retained for a limited time for legal or operational purposes:

• Anonymized analytics data (cannot be linked to you)
• Data required by law or for legal proceedings
• Backup data that will be deleted in the normal course of backup rotation

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct your data: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and associated data (see Account Deletion above)
• Export your data: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Object to processing: Object to certain uses of your data
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing (may limit app functionality)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@awfit.net. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Subscription Management

If you have an active subscription, you can manage it through Apple's subscription management:

• iOS Settings: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > AwFit
• App Store: Open the App Store app, tap your profile, then tap Subscriptions
• Web: Visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

From there, you can:

• Cancel your subscription
• Change your subscription plan
• View subscription history
• Request refunds (subject to Apple's refund policy)

Note: Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. You must delete your account separately (see Account Deletion above) if you wish to remove all your data.
